Computing Curriculum (Curriculum Designer & Leader: Ian Noone)
At St Christopher’s the computing curriculum is taught by our teaching staff and a specialist computing teachers. Using a specialist teacher ensures that the children are accessing the latest technology and being challenged in their use of computing science.
We aim to ensure that all pupils:
In the EYFS we use the EYFS framework that is structured differently to the national curriculum as it organised across the seven areas of learning rather than a subject area. Please see the Computing LTP which contains Nursery and Reception planning.
Please read our Computing Long Term Plan (LTP) which details the teaching of Computing thoughout our school.
Each unit is accompanied by a Knowledge Mat (click on the curriculum tab). This gives the key learning and vocab that your child is expected to know at the end of the unit.
