Pupil Premium Funding

The pupil premium is additional funding given to schools so that we can support our socially disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. It was introduced in April 2011 and is allocated to schools to work with pupils who have been registered for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last six years. Looked after children and service personnel also attract funding.

The headteacher and leadership team continually monitor, evaluate and review the strategies we have in place to ensure funding is making an impact on pupils' progress, this information is reported to the governing body. To find out more about what measures we have in place and how we have spent Pupil Premium funding at St Christopher's, please read the ‘Pupil Premium Strategy Statements and Expenditure & Impact Reports’ using the links below.

To find out if your child may be eligible for Pupil Premium funding please contact the school office.
