Following Zoom session Write a letter to a hero of your own (this could be a family member or someone in the public eye). Check the tense you are writing and spellings of verbs as you write. Add further details to each point made within the letter. Use the conjunction ‘when’ within the letter. e.g. Dear Mum, Today I was thinking about heroes in school with my teacher. We thought about famous people and all the things they do. When I think about heroes I think about all the things you do for me. When I was little and fell over you picked me up and made me feel better. You gave me a cuddle and I stopped crying. When I was lost in the shop you came and found me. I was so happy to see you and I stopped crying. When I was scared of the thunderstorm you made me feel safe. You are a hero to me. |
