We aim to ensure that all pupils:

• understand and respond to spoken and written language from a varity of authentic sources
• speak with incresing confidence, fluency and spontanity, finding ways of communicating what they want to say, including through discussion and asking questions, and continuinly improving the accuracy of their pronunciation and intonation
• can write at varying length, for different puposes and audiences, using the varity of grammatical structures that the have learnt
• discover and develop an appreciation of a wide range of writing in the language studied. 

Each unit is accompanied by a Knowledge Mat (click on the curriculum tab). This gives the key learning and vocab that your child is expected to know at the end of the unit.
