Parent Teachers Association
St Christopher's RC Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an active group that organises events through the year to support the school and the community. We have meetings every half term to organise events and activities. The school newsletters will keep you posted about up and coming events and view the gallery page to see photo's of events that have been held.
We are always looking to welcome new faces to our meetings, whether you want to just listen, voice an opinion, put forward an idea or offer to help out in some way with the events we put on. Whatever time or support you can give the PTA will greatly benefit St Christopher’s. Meeting dates are posted on the school calendar.
Our PTA committee consists of several members who have specific roles; and a larger team who work really hard which ensures that our events run really successfully.
Meet the Committee:
Chair: Amanda Maddocks Vice Chair: Mrs Reda-Jones
Secretary: Ms Mullhall Vice Secretary: Rachel Van-Weedenberg
Treasurer: Lauren Finan Vice Treasurer: Mrs Butterworth
As a parent at St Christopher’s, you are automatically a member of the PTA. There are a number of ways in which you can get involved . . .
- Please support the events that are held during the year, some are for children, some for parents and some for the whole family. Please come along, help raise funds for the school and meet some new people.
- Give a little time. There are always lots of things to do in the PTA – whether it’s spending 20 minutes when you’ve dropped your children off at school selling tickets or helping out on the BBQ at the summer fun day.
- Come along to the PTA Meetings. – They are fun, informative and held at different times of the day both in and out of school so that as many people as possible can attend.
So where does your money go?
- Football kits
- Adventure Mountain
- ‘Icing on the cake’ extras that our children love such as reward stickers, books and Year 6 leavers hoodies
